The Weekly Reframe is a weekly journal prompt and intention-setting practice as we gear up for The Reframe event on November 15th.
Happy Tuesday! Welcome back to The Weekly Reframe.
This week’s reflection
Recently, I spoke at an event and talked about our addiction to productivity and inability to rest because of it. It’s easy to confuse busyness with purpose. We fill our days with tasks, appointments, and endless to-do lists, and sometimes it feels like if we slow down, we’ll fall behind, but constant motion doesn’t always mean progress or productivity.
Reframing begins with asking: Am I busy, or am I being intentional? There’s a difference between moving without purpose and moving with meaning.
Journal prompts
What drives most of my busyness right now – genuine desire, pressure, or fear of falling behind?
How does my definition of success impact how I view rest?
What boundary or mindset shift would help me create more space for rest and reflection this week?
Take a few minutes to sit with these questions. The act of slowing down is what brings the most clarity.
Remember this: Reframing how we move through our days helps us reconnect to our values and reclaim our time. Rest is not about doing less – it’s about doing what truly sustains you.
An Invitation
If this message resonates, you’ll love The Reframe, my in-person emotional wellness workshop taking place at Luminary in NYC on November 15th.
It’s an afternoon designed for reflection, restoration, and community – a space to release what’s heavy and set new intentions for the year ahead.
Here’s what to expect:
Talk & Reflection: A guided talk and reflection led by me on how to identify and reframe limiting thought patterns that are getting in the way of you reaching your goals.
Creative Activity: A hands-on memory frame activity designed to help you create something tangible and meaningful that reflects the beliefs you’re reframing and the intentions you will set for the new year.
Closing Circle: A space for connection, conversation, and community care over food + shared stories.
