Do you believe that everything happens for a reason?
Life is not black-and-white; it is full of complexities and nuances. When bad things happen, we often search for answers because we struggle to accept that some things are simply unexplainable.
There is a direct correlation between cause and effect in everything that happens in life. If a person dies, the cause is outlined in their autopsy. If you fail a test, the reason is that you did not meet the passing requirement. However, the phrase "everything happens for a reason" is often used as a euphemism to assign meaning and purpose to a tragic situation. But it is not always true to say that every negative event in your life has meaning and purpose tied to a greater cause.
